The rooms at this hotel are comfortably furnished and surprisingly quiet, despite being located above the lively pub. The basic amenities are adequate for the price, and the location near Brecon Beacons National Park is a major plus. The staff provides excellent service and the breakfast choices are amazing.
No major complaints, everything was satisfactory.

Truly enjoyed the place, had a really nice stay for one night. The hotel was just next door to the restaurant, the pub downstairs, and Penderyn thanks to its quiet location. There were karaoke and WiFi in the main bar. No complaints whatsoever, the venue met requirements, would be happy to recommend it.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel recently. the newly taken over Lamb And Flag was well-run and the staff were incredibly helpful without being asked. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of the beer at the bar. the owner even offered to secure our motorcycles in the function room overnight, which was a great gesture. the hotel's location was convenient, with several nearby pubs, takeaways, and restaurants within walking distance. the room was comfortable, with all the necessary amenities and free WiFi. the breakfast offered a variety of options, and the full English I had was delicious and filling. it was an excellent value for money and I highly recommend this hotel. Cons: All was perfect! .

Mike
The hotel had good parking space and offered a reasonably priced dinner. The room was clean and had a nice decor, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly.
The hotel did not offer wifi in the rooms, only in the bar, which was noisy. The bathroom was not very clean and there was some grime around the shower.

The rooms were comfy and clean, perfect for crashing after a long day of non-stop action. And let me tell you, Glyn Neath has some gnarly places to explore! We hit up the Neath Golf Club and had a blast swinging those clubs like champs. And the National Showcaves Centre for Wales was totally epic! We wandered through those caves like real adventurers, it was such a thrill. Plus, the area is perfect for cycling, so we had a wicked time biking around and soaking in the beautiful scenery.
The only downer was that we didn't find any late-night parties nearby. We're party animals and it would've been gnarly to have some late-night fun right near the hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the beautiful hills and waterfalls nearby. the rooms are clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and nice oak furniture. the staff is friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure guests are satisfied. the breakfast is delicious, with a choice of a full English or plain cereals. the hotel also offers free toiletries in the room, adding to the convenience and comfort.
The WiFi only works in the bar area, which can be noisy and not ideal for working or relaxing.

The noise from the nearby main road was quite audible in the rooms, which made it difficult to sleep at times. the staff was friendly but could have been more attentive at times.
